A common web portal http://harbours.wtz-brasilien.org has been established to provide a central information platform, which presents progress of the distributed project activities. The aim is provision of an integrated view of and access to the coastal information collected, created and made available throughout this project.

All data sources and documents from research, administrative assessment studies and numerical modelling will be complemented by standardized metadata. This metadata base will be maintained in a central repository, which provides data and context information ultimately used in decision making of the integrated costal zone management process.

Deliverables and products include:
a) Sustainable Web portal for integrated views of and access to coastal information concerning Paranaguá Bay and Rio Grande;
b) Comprehensive metadata repository for coastal zone purposes;
c) Online metadata tools for updating the repository, provided with a permanent mirror server at BAW;
d) Comprehensive databases of Paranaguá Bay and Rio Grande;
d) Extendable method base for standardized web services providing customized presentation of coastal information;
e) Establishment of links to the operational model and online atlases with animation.

This activity involves all project partners.
